CPD plans encourage lifelong learning consistent with an individual’s professional role.

Identifying professional development needs involves assessing professional competence against the National Competency Standards Framework for Pharmacists in Australia (2010) for the particular scope of practice in which an individual pharmacist is working. It also involves self-reflection on your everyday practice to highlight knowledge gaps.

The PSA is currently developing an online tool for members to be able to create a personal CPD plan to support them in meeting the Pharmacy Board’s requirements. The tool will be available in August. In the interim the resources below will assist with developing a CPD plan.

The PSA is holding free workshops across Australia for PSA members and non-members starting in August. The workshops are designed to walk you through the process of developing your personal CPD Plan.
