NAPSA ‘Wildcard’ to compete for Pharmacy Student of the Year title

As an exciting addition to the PSA Alphapharm Pharmacy Student of the Year (PSOTY) awards in 2007, a NAPSA ‘wildcard’ Finalist will compete with the 6 State Finalists in the National Counselling Competition at
NAPSA President, Brooke Myers was extremely excited about the opportunity for NAPSA students to participate in PSOTY. She said:
“The award is an ideal chance for students to put their counselling skills and pharmacy knowledge to the test against their peers on a national stage, with the added benefit of winning valuable travel prizes. But perhaps most importantly, the award offers students a vital opportunity to add a significant award to their CV.”
More than 30 final year pharmacy students took part in the in the heats for the NAPSA Congress Counselling Competition in January this year. The ‘wildcard’ Finalist was then selected from the top 6 finalists who competed in the Congress Counselling Competition, which took place in-front of all Congress attendees.
