Fact Cards

Each Fact Card provides essential information and includes counselling points, highlight when referral is appropriate, and provide contact details for further sources of information. They are an easy-to-read, double-sided card in a standardised format.

Through the Fact Card health information system, Pharmacy Self Care provides high quality health information to support the counselling and advice that pharmacies provide.

All Fact Cards are reviewed and updated annually by pharmacists and experts on the topics to ensure the information is accurate and up-to-date. They are written in simple, easy-to-read language and designed primarily as counselling tools that pharmacists and pharmacy staff can tailor to individual needs.

Fact Cards are also available for self selection and  Self Care displays help create an attractive health information area in the pharmacy.

The topics covered by the Fact Card health information system include over 80 titles across 14 categories.
