World Pharmacists DayTo celebrate World Pharmacists Day 2017, PSA is highlighting the healthcare services and consumer benefits delivered by pharmacists around Australia.

As the most accessible and trusted healthcare professionals, pharmacists deliver a broad range of healthcare services to communities every day. Pharmacists are highly trained medicines experts who work in a range of healthcare settings including community pharmacy, hospitals, academia, consultancy, industry and Government.

The pharmacy profession has supported local communities for decades and today there are around 30,300 pharmacists in Australia. Pharmacists also play an important role in collaborative care teams to improve health outcomes.
