The Tasmanian Government-funded advice line is now available to all Tasmanians seeking support or advice from an expert pharmacist from 6pm to midnight, seven days a week.

 

It is a confidential, free service available for all Tasmanians, designed to connect you with registered and experienced Pharmacists after operational hours (6pm-midnight 7 days a week), to get you the support you need.

 

As medicine safety experts, pharmacists play a significant role in the day-to-day management of medicines . Tasmanians can now call us when most local pharmacies are closed and get the same expert advice on dosages, medicine safety, drug interactions

 

 

What happens after the call?

 

✅ Both you and your Doctor will be provided a summary of advice via email for your records

 

✅ If your call requires urgent medical care or is outside the scope of the Pharmacist, you will get a referral to another service

 

✅ You will be offered a follow-up call from the Pharmacist

 

 

For now, the service is only available to patients in Tasmania.
