The 25th September 2022 is World Pharmacist Day.

 

The International Pharmaceutical Federation’s theme for World Pharmacist Day is Pharmacy united in action for a healthier world. This theme aims to showcase pharmacy’s positive impact on world health outcomes, including pharmacists’ contribution to reducing incidence of communicable and non-communicable diseases.

 

PSA has used the theme to advocate for pharmacists to practise to top of scope. We have produced resources to spotlight the areas where Australian pharmacy is leading the world, and the opportunities where Australian pharmacists could be making a greater contribution, based on practices in other countries.
