Cathy Doggrell, Editor Wellcome bibliography for the History of Medicine, writes.....
As a result of changes within the Wellcome Library, the Wellcome bibliography for the history of medicine (formerly known as Current work in the history of medicine) will unfortunately no longer be produced after June 2004. Citations created for it will still be searchable as part of the catalogue of the Wellcome Library for the History and Understanding of Medicine (http://catalogue.well_come.ac.uk).
The Bibliography has served the international history of medicine community loyally for the past 50 years, but technology and events have now overtaken it, but we hope that readers will not be too incovenienced by its demise. Email:,c.doggrell@wellcome.ac.uk
