Menopause

Menopause is a significant life transition that can impact physical, emotional, and overall wellbeing. Pharmacists play an important role in supporting people experiencing perimenopause and menopause by recognising symptoms, providing evidence-based information, and assisting with the safe and effective use of both hormonal and non-hormonal therapies.

Through the Quality Use of Medicines (QUM) Alliance, this topic focuses on strengthening the role of pharmacists in delivering person-centred care, supporting shared decision-making, and helping to optimise therapeutic outcomes across the menopause journey.
