  • Learning objectives
    After completing this module, pharmacists should be able to:
    • Apply general principles of cancer medicines when educating patients and/or carers on how to take their medication, to ensure they receive optimal benefit and to minimise medication administration errors
    • Apply education principles when providing counselling to patient and/or carers receiving oral anticancer medicines, on managing side effects and treatment adherence
    • Step by step counselling points with practical advice incorporating principles of oral anticancer medicines.
