2026 PSA MIMS Intern Pharmacist of the Year announced

The Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) has awarded Tayler Holdman MPS, from Merimbula New South Wales, the 2026 PSA MIMS Intern Pharmacist of the Year, for her outstanding commitment to patient care and contributions to advancing pharmacy practice during her intern year.  

 

The PSA MIMS Intern Pharmacist of the Year is awarded to an intern pharmacist who has demonstrated leadership in pharmacy, a commitment to patient care and the safe use of medicines, initiative in pharmacy service delivery, and exceptional peer and professional engagement.  

 

PSA National President, Professor Mark Naunton MPS, congratulated Ms Holdman on receiving this award and was proud to see PSA recognising intern pharmacists making a difference to the profession.  

 

“Supporting our future pharmacists during their intern year is crucial to building a strong and sustainable pharmacy workforce,” Professor Naunton said.  

 

“Ms Holdman has demonstrated considerable advocacy, particularly for vulnerable patients, exemplifying the qualities of an outstanding early career pharmacist committed to improving patient outcomes. Her dedication to improving health literacy through patient education and expanding access to healthcare services in regional New South Wales is highly commendable. 

 

“Congratulations, Tayler, on this well-deserved recognition. The PSA and I look forward to seeing the impact you will no doubt make on the profession as your pharmacy journey continues.”
