PSA announces Queensland Graduate of the Year

17 October 2026

The Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) is proud to present the Professor James Dare Pharmacy Graduate of the Year Award to Georgia Muir from Griffith University.

Each year, every School of Pharmacy in Queensland nominates one graduating student who has demonstrated initiative and leadership, contributed to the student community, exhibited characteristics consistent with the Code of Ethics for Pharmacists, and demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Presenting the award, PSA Queensland President James Buckley MPS said he was very proud of the calibre of pharmacy graduates this year and congratulated all nominees across QLD.

“Georgia is a committed and highly motivated student,” he said

“Her passion for the pharmacy profession is evident through her outstanding academic achievement and in her delivery of compassionate, person-centred care to all patients.

“On behalf of PSA and the broader pharmacy profession, I extend my congratulations to Ms Muir on being named the Professor James Dare Pharmacy Graduate of the Year for 2026.”
