Deanna Mill

After graduating with a Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honors from the University of South Australia, Deanna undertook her internship at the Southern Adelaide Local Health network working across multiple public hospitals in the network.

 

Deanna is a passionate early career pharmacist and was recognised as joint PSA intern pharmacist of the year in 2018 for efforts in practice-based research and improving interprofessional education in her workplace.

 

Upon registration Deanna broaden her experience by working in both hospital and community practice in metropolitan and rural South Australia. On a mission to enhance pharmacist professionalism, Deanna is currently completing a PhD at the University of Western Australia investigating Australian pharmacists use of professional practice resources and professional behaviour more broadly. She is also currently involved in teaching in the Bachelor of Pharmacy program at the University of South Australia and Master of Pharmacy program at the University of Western Australia.

 

Deanna has been involved in the state and national Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) Early Career Pharmacist group for several years and was elected to the SA/NT PSA Branch Committee in 2021. Deanna now serves as the current PSA Early Career Pharmacist Board Appointed Director and her responsibilities include chair of the PSA Early Career Pharmacist Community of Special Interest and Member of the Membership, Products & Services Committee.
