Travellers to Tasmania, including returning residents, need to provide contact and travel details before entering the state, to help manage the risk of COVID-19 at Tasmania’s borders.

Contact Public Health Services on 1800 671 738.
People in the community can call the Public Health Hotline 1800 671 738 if they think they might have COVID-19 because they have a fever and respiratory symptoms (eg cough, sore throat) AND have recently travelled overseas or had contact with someone known to have COVID-19.
The Tasmanian Health Service has established a COVID-19 clinic in Hobart in the Repatriation Hospital. This clinic is not a walk in clinic and is only available via referral from a GP.
People in the community who think they may need testing should first contact the Public Health Hotline, on 1800 671 738. Following this assessment, they may be directed to attend the clinic for testing.
